“Carico is forever,” this is one of the taglines that Carico International prides itself, and honestly, this should be an excellent indicator for someone who plans to have a career in a company. Since it was established way back in 1967, it should have been a very well-established company. With its over 50 years of experience, it should have a solid track record to prove it. Unfortunately, despite the claimed years of experience, there are not many useful and truthful websites or articles to verify the quality of their products and the legitimacy of their career employments.

Carico claims that their company has been continuously growing over the past years and it requires more human resources, thus, the job offers. It offers enticing perks and benefits for their future employees. The company also provides an excellent pay structure, which is one of the main factors that job hunters consider in finding the right job. It says on their website that you could earn almost $2,500 to $5,000 monthly on top of the luxurious international travel opportunities. Yes, it is not just your typical business travel, but it’s travel to expensive travel destination such as the Bahamas, Caribbean Cruises, France, and more.

Here, they also promised financial security through great pay and a variety of incentives. However, there are reviews on Glassdoor and Indeed websites indicating that these perks are dedicated only for those who have a high number of sales. And some of them even said that there are no actual job benefits like health care, insurance, etc.

They also promise a personal career growth within the company. Considering that they claim to have operations on over 30 foreign countries and caters to all of the states in the US, this is seemingly believable at first. But it remains unclear to determine what exactly goes after the sales-representative position.

They offer a flexible schedule with part-time and full-time options that is suitable for students, homemakers, undergraduates, etc. They also accept those who have zero experience and no baseline knowledge required. First, the work-from-home advertisement actually depends on your techniques. But the majority of the employees utilize a face-to-face communication with a door-to-door approach that falsifies the work-from-home set-up.

Basically, the tag-line is that you own your schedule most of the time, except for the scheduled training provided by the company. These training programs are described as “state-of-the-art” that will ensure the best results and will equip you with highly effective methods.

Although it was not clear as they mentioned two training programs, the “90 days or less management training program” and the “3-day training program”.

Honestly, it is utterly bothersome that they were able to include several fancy benefits and flowery testaments, but failed to include essential details when posting job opportunities. There is no mention of the actual job position, job description, and the responsibilities involved.

Testimonials

At the last part of their website, you will see a small portion of the written testament, which is not reliable as it is only an art-pic of a man with a suit. There is also no identification. However, they seem to compensate for the lack of written testimonials with a set of videos from their employees. Just note that Carico produced the videos, and the company explicitly chose the reviewers. Even though they provided actual employees with an identification, the reviews are superficial and just a repetition of what they brag on their website. They do not explicitly describe the process and how the details of how the company helped them. The same ideas and terms were used with almost all of the testimonies, “business in lifestyle,” “unlimited income,” “own hours,” and such.

The Pros and Cons of Carico International Careers

Pros:

● Since it is direct-sales, you own your time and schedule. You are the one who will set when and where you would advertise and sell products.

● Technologically innovative products that could potentially help you boost your sales.

Cons:

● Entirely commission-based with no hourly or salary income. This means that you could have spent an entire week trying to lock a sale, and if that fails, you’re left with nothing. No compensation for effort, travel and sales expenses, etc.

● Although the product is promising on how it advertises its features, there are complaint cases about the hidden charges on top of the ridiculous amount of the product.

● No career growth contrary to what they promote on their website. There is no telling what comes after the sales-based position, even on the administrative side.

By far, Carico International Career raises enough red flag to manifest that it does not provide a solid and stable career. Most importantly, it has a lot of false and misleading statements included on their website. They stated that they are looking for certified consultants, management trainees, and support personnel. But based on the reviews, the only job you will get is a sales representative.

It ticks off characteristics closely similar to MLM. There are also numerous websites tagging Carico International as an MLM company. So, as mentioned in our previous article, our review would be that there are a lot of ways to make more money than MLM.

So, Carico Career, despite all of its false advertising and misleading statements, is not a scam. But it does have numerous false advertising and misleading statements that should be enough to scare you away.
