How to Build Affiliate Marketing Website Easily with Wealthy Affiliate

I have been building affiliate marketing websites for years. I started in the days when you needed to know some coding to build a website that would be SEO-friendly. Nowadays the whole process can be very easy and automated.

First, if you are a beginner, you need to decide how serious you are about building your online business. You could build a free website on platforms like Weebly or Wix Website Builder, but it’s unlikely you’ll be able to rank high in the search engines such a website and make money online with it.

If you want to build an affiliate website, I assume that you are or you want to become an affiliate marketer and want to make money online. Affiliate marketing is how I make money online and I think it’s the easiest way to make money online.

In this article I’ll explain how to build an affiliate website easily with Wealthy Affiliate, as a Starter Member for free. You can start for free and upgrade in the future when you need more features, but in the beginning, it won’t really matter if you are a free or a paid member.

You can stay a free member without any pressure to upgrade to the Premium Membership.

Choosing a Niche

Before you start building your affiliate marketing website, you need to choose a niche. It would be the best if you choose the niche you are interested in or even better you’re passionate about. Choosing a niche is a very important first step, so you should not rush it. Take your time and choose your niche carefully.

On the other, don’t think too long. You can always change the niche or have more than one niche in the future.

Choosing a Domain

After you choose a niche, it’s time to start building your beautiful website. There are two ways of building your website in WA. For free, or on your own domain. Let’s start for free.

You can start right here on this page. But first, you need to choose the name of your website. The name of your website should be connected to your niche.

If your niche, for example is golf shoes, you might choose the name The Best Golf Shoes with the domain “bestgolfshoes”. I checked in the tool below, and this name is available.

Enter the name for your website above (no spaces between the words).

Now click on “Build It Now” button, and you’ll be taken to the Site Rubix website which is Wealthy Affiliate website building tool. It’s free and it looks like this:

After that you’ll need to fill out the form to become a free WA member. Don’t worry, you won’t need to pay anything. You won’t need a credit card either.

Then you’ll have a choice:

There are advantages to having a paid domain, so if you can, it would be the best choice. But, you can also start with a free domain and buy a domain in the future. If you already have a domain you can also use it.

For the purpose of this example, I chose “on a free domain”
