GoldOpinions.com is another popular product sold on Clickbank, that promises its members to make money from surveys.
I have already written a few times on this website that if you want to make money online, doing surveys is not worth the time. It takes quite a lot of time, but the money you can earn is usually about $100 – $200 a month, if you really work hard. Is it any different with Gold Opinions?
Below is my review of Gold Opinions.
Gold Opinions Review
GoldOpinions.com is a membership site, that promises its members to make money with surveys. First of all you should know that Gold Opinions won’t pay you for doing surveys, nor will give you any surveys to do. It’s just another survey intermediary website.
They connect you with many different survey companies and help you with finding surveys. So, actually you can find all those companies yourself for free. There’s no need to pay Gold Opinions to do surveys.
The only advantage of being a member of Gold Opinions is that you’ll find different survey opportunities in one place.
The Price
It costs $27 a month to be a member of Gold Opinions. The good thing about them is that you can sign up for 7-day trial that costs only $1. So, before you decide to pay $27 you can test Gold Opinions and see if it works for you.
Keep in mind that the availability of surveys is different in different countries. There might be many more survey opportunities in the USA than in Singapore, for example.
Because it’s sold via Clickbank, you are also covered by 60-day money back guarantee.
Gold Opinions Promises
They say that you’ll be able to make up to $5 for paid surveys, which will take you only 10-15 minutes. You’ll be also able to make $50 for premium surveys, and $30 per hour on focus groups.
The promises of Gold Opinions although not as exaggerated as promises on other similar websites (like Take Surveys for Cash, for example, which I reviewed here), are still exaggerated. As I mentioned earlier, you’ll be lucky if you make $200 per month, if you work really hard with surveys.
Misleading Marketing
There’s a video on the sales page of Gold Opinions where they say that “… at GoldOpinions.com you’ll be paid for sharing your opinions with us”. This is obviously not true. They won’t pay you anything, because they don’t have any surveys. They are just the survey intermediary. So, if you get paid, it won’t be by Gold Opinions. Gold Opinions owners make money from your monthly fee, plus probably gets affiliate commissions for sending you to the survey companies.
So, just their video on the sales page show that they aren’t honest, and you should think twice before you trust them and become their member.
After a little investigation and search online I discovered that Gold Opinions belong to the same people or person as Gaming Jobs Online which I reviewed here.
They also own Writing Jobs Online, Photography Jobs Online, YouTube Secrets, Teaching Jobs Online, Play Piano in 30 Days, and a few other membership websites.
Some of them look almost the same, use almost exactly the same marketing techniques and give the same promises.
The Pros
I don’t see any pros in becoming the member of Gold Opinions, except that they offer you a 7-day trial for $1. Actually, there is another pro – Gold Opinions is sold via Clickbank, and it’s very easy to get money back from Clickbank if you aren’t happy with what you bought.

They use misleading marketing techniques and false promises to lure members. The good thing about them is that you can test them for 7 days paying $1 only. So, you should not pay them $27, without testing it first.
It’s just another survey intermediary that promises a lot, but delivers very little. You won’t make much money with Gold Opinions, nor any other survey intermediary website.
If you really want to make some extra money doing surveys, you should find some survey websites that won’t charge you any fees for giving you surveys.
If you really want to make some money online, it’s better to forget about doing surveys and find some real and honest money making opportunities online.

Thank you for an informative post on Gold Opinions. It’s good to know that they act merely as an intermediary. $60 per hour pretty much to do surveys is a bit of a stretch. I agree that $200 per month is a more accurate number when we’re talking about surveys. I’ll be steering clear of Gold Opinions thanks to you. A better alternative as you’ve mentioned is Wealthy Affiliate, highly recommended. Well done!

Chris, thank you so much for warning people about the make money online schemes that are promoted on the internet. It appears that Gold Opinions is no different from the rest. Claims of earnng big money, lots of hype and false promises. In the past I have tried earning money doing surveys. My experience was just as you said lots of hard work and very little money. You are honest and to the point and I respect you and your opinion about this shady company in all it’s incarnations.
